HOTEL FABIAN IS GREEN KEY CERTIFIED

Hotel Fabian has been awarded an environmental certificate by the international travel industry's environmental programme Green Key Finland. The certification is decided by a Green Key jury of experts in corporate responsibility, sustainable tourism and environmental protection.

The Green Key hotel is committed to raising environmental awareness among staff and guests, improving energy and water efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of its accommodation operations. Green Key certified companies will receive the internationally recognised Green Key label and the programme's support for their environmental work and communication.

WE CARE

1. Eco-Boutique bathroom products

Hotel Fabian has chosen products from the ECO-Boutique cosmetics brand for its bathrooms. In small but significant steps towards protecting the environment, Eco-Boutique combines recycled packaging materials with advanced formulation technology to get the best out of life science and nature. Eco-Boutique products are manufactured with low environmental impact and contain 100% organic Aloe Leaf extract. The packaging materials and the bottles themselves are recyclable and therefore a good choice for environmentally conscious hotels.

2. Organic products

We favour organic products at our breakfast, and we serve organic porridge, organic eggs and handmade, additive-free and hearty treats from the legendary Kannisto bakery. Our morning coffee drinkers enjoy a steaming cup of quality Italian coffee and tea drinkers enjoy the house's premium organic selection.

3. We encourage cycling

Hotel Fabian's own receptionist cycles to work in summer and winter. Our hotel offers excellent walking and cycling routes. You can walk along the seafront all the way to Helsinki's Hernesaare. Our hotel guests can also hire bikes for their excursions during the summer.

4. Our bar offers organic wines

Our cosy lobby bar Bar Fabian offers a carefully selected small selection of organic red and white wines.
